Limestone Networks announces addition of Intel E3-1200 V3 based dedicated servers!

Limestone Networks, the Dallas-based, on-demand dedicated server provider, is pleased to formally announce the availability of Intel® Xeon® E3-1200 V3 based dedicated servers.

Intel’s new V3 version of its E3-1200 series processor offers numerous upgrades to its V2 predecessor, and Limestone Networks is thrilled to announce its inclusion to their broad range of dedicated server offerings. With gains in CPU performance, CPU performance per watt, and graphics performance, the Intel Xeon E3-1200 V3 product family provides a versatile platform to meet a range of business needs. A few of the more important updates to this model are as follows:

• Haswell microarchitecture. Intel’s industry-leading 22nm 3-D Tri-Gate transistor technology.
• 12% increase in general CPU performance.
• 12% increase in media and CAD application performance.
• Intel® Rapid Storage Technology enterprise 3.x.
• Intel® Platform Protection Technology (with BIOS Guard).
