Limestone Networks Performs Substantial Network Upgrades

Dallas, TX, July 13, 2010 – Limestone Networks, Inc., the Dallas-based dedicated server provider, has just completed a handful of network upgrades in response to a rapidly growing client base and an ever-expanding need for further scalability.

Adding to its collection of top quality internet transit providers, Limestone has added a 10 gigabit connection with Savvis to its ever expanding network. The connection with Savvis joins Limestone’s other 2010 additions such as Telia (10 gig) and Global Crossing (10 gig).

In addition to the Savvis circuit, Limestone has also contracted with Internap to install an additional 10 gigabit circuit this fall. This circuit is expected to be online in October after the install and rigorous testing is completed.

To handle route optimization for the growing bandwidth demand, Limestone has also upgraded its Internap Flow Control Platform (FCP) system. The FCP is a route analysis and optimization system which is used to ensure efficient packet delivery from Limestone’s network, which the FCP accomplishes by choosing the route with optimal loss and latency metrics. By installing the FCP 10Gx, Limestone has satisfied its route optimization needs for years to come with a unit that will scale to 80 gigabits of throughput.

Limestone, which has recently reported staggering growth for the first half of the year, has significantly increased network-level expenditures to ensure the performance of their network.

These changes are all part of Limestone Networks’ dedication to providing customers with simple, solid and superior experience. Limestone is offering the best dedicated virtual server hosting services on the internet. Contact the Limestone Networks Sales Team at sales@limestonenetworks.com to see what they have to offer.
